Today, I’ll share How I got 100000 pageviews from Facebook for free from a single post. Getting traffic to your website nowadays has become an open clash of the SEO titans and small guys can get crushed in the process. The stiff competition out there has made many people to be lost online. In most cases, standing up to the daring and seemily complex SEO twerks often requires spending some money. You either be really tough or start pinching your pennies.
I also know you definitely don’t want to spend or throw anymore money away into some fruitless advertising efforts that will end up demanding more money. Sure, you want to know my little secret: How I got 100000 pageviews from Facebook for free from a single post so badly. Let’s get on to it right away.
How I got 100000 pageviews from Facebook for free from a single post
I recently posted an article as usual on one of my adsense monetized websites. The article went wild on the web, generating 100,000 pageviews and a handsome amount of clicks and purchases of my affiliate products that made my earnings drifting upwards. I was amazed at my adsense dashboard. I literally screamed in when i looked at it on my phone. I marvelled as my earnings kept changing every few minutes. My Getresponse mailing list increased by 200% in under 48hours.
Though that particular site had a relatively low cpc (0.06) compared to most of my sites, I got a handsome 3000+ clicks in less than 7 days. My CTR dropped from the previous 7 days from 3.9%+ to 2.6% and fluctuated somewhere there. It just rose back to 4%+ after the buzz went down a little after 7 days. My RPM however is steadily between 1.6% to 1.9%. You can do the maths from here. When I checked the country reports, I realized South Africa had the highest clicks and the highest earnings too. Just to give you a clue of what I freely ran into from a single Facebook post.
Note that this was 100% free. I never spent or promoted anything. I simply did the following:
(I believe if you emulate this cautiously, you will get the same results).
Step 1: I wrote a catchy post title.
Post title: Miracle Money: How to receive miracles
Step 2: I used catchy post image optimized for social media.
Step 3: I shared the article on facebook
I shared the article as usual on Facebook to several groups and fan pages created specifically to promote that particular website.
One of the Facebook pages outscored the others with one of the posts with the page itself getting 25%+ likes on the same day. Note that the post was carefully coined to pull the audience’s interset and it definitely did. See the said Page and pinned post on Facebook.
Step 4: I gave the highly performing Facebook post more attention
Once I noticed that of all the posts I had published and shared, one particular post was almost blowing up my laptop with non stop notifications of like and shares, I pinned the post on the page to give it more attention.
Step 5: More hands on deck
I asked my friends and partners (admins of the Facebook page) to share the page as well targeting the audieance that was responding in my adsense report like crazy (South Africa). We equally focused on sharing and resharing the exact same post to the largest groups on Facebook that were directly related to the topic in question.
Step 6: We did it again and again till the dead end
We of course, repeated this process aggressively like bots for the next two days (driven by the mad results) until we were temporally suspended by Facebook one after another (four of us) from joining or sharing in groups for the next five days or so.
Step 7: I sent out emails to my new handsome mailing list
Facebook may have halted our run to 1,000,000 pageviews but another opportunity remained. Your most valuable asset online: Your mailing list. I sent out emails of the same post preview and the results were wholesome! The best I have ever achieved from my email campaigns.
The end result is that the buzz was already generated. Facebook users are likely to like or share aything just because most people or their friends did. The page eventual got thousands of likes and shares in some really large groups.
One of the secrets to this huge success is that we mostly shared the post to the largest groups on Facebook. We shared to over a 20 of such groups each repeatedly. I am talking of groups of between 50,000 to almost a million or so members. This was of course highly targeted and niche-specific to the core.
I had earlier bought a list with the URLs of over 300 of such largest Facebook groups from a blackhat crackpot (not to say naught case). Anyways, if you would like to have full access to the complete list, I will give it to you. Just subscribe and you’ll get it directly in your mailbox.
