Recognized as one of Cameroon’s best digital communicators, he has been listed among British Council’s Top 100 Young Journalists Worldwide in 2019.

Over the years, he has built a record as an insight-driven online marketing consultant and digital strategist with years of experience serving both local & established brands, running even online presidential campaigns – a deep insight-driven & customer-centered knowledge consulting and developing successful B2B and B2C go-to-market ideas.

Through his media prowess, he has been able to help over 500 business owners, brands and institutions make more money and enjoy the beauty of business.
His journalism career began at Manyu’s pioneer radio station, Voice of Manyu in 2013. This was during his high school days where he worked as a program presenter. After his Advanced level, he pursued a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication in the University of Buea where he excelled while serving as a reporter for a host of Cameroon newspapers including Cameroon Herald & The Recorder.

He has also served as show host and radio program producer for Ocean City Radio, Limbe.

ARREYB then picked up a job with Washington DC-based Legideon Magazine where he served as Senior Content Producer for Cameroon, producing and coordinating the team of writers across Cameroon.

In 2017 he moved to set up his online media, ARREYB Media and focused on his career as blogger, social media consultant and digital journalist.

In October 2018, he served the Now! Movement coordinating online presidential campaigns for candidate Barrister Akere Muna.

Akere Muna later formed a coalition with Maurice Kamto two days to the elections and the team came second in the electoral results after President Paul Biya who was first.

In January & February 2019, he organized the ARREYB Media National Tour, a series of 7 conferences organized in 6 towns of Cameroon to train young journalists, bloggers and entrepreneurs on digital branding, growing their business and brands via social media. This was the first-ever tour organized by a blogger in Cameroon and trained over 1,000 persons with digital skills.

A confrontation between Arrey and a bank secretary on poor customer service sparked the initiate of an award to recognize and celebrate business models and systems including customer service. He is the organizer of the AB Afrikpreneur Awards, an African award to celebrate entrepreneurial bodies & systems across Africa (www.abafrikpreneur.com)

The 2019 AB Afrikpreneur Awards awarded 32 entrepreneurial bodies and individuals across Africa with 6 African countries represented including media persons, entertainers, and political figures.

Young and promising, his works have reached a wide audience across the world. 7 months into blogging he was nominated Cameroon’s best blogger into the BDMA2017 awards.

Noted for his slogan “NotJustBlogging_Professionalising”, ARREYB recently got nominated at Infinity Blog Awards 2019, a US-based world award scheme to bloggers of all sectors. 200 blogs were selected from 3,000 submissions across the world.
